Hydration is happiness!
Most guests experience significant overall improvements and commonly report feeling better right away. Due to a busy lifestyle, 70-80% of people are chronically dehydrated and deficient in vitamins and minerals. Other guests report feeling tired or unwell. These guests are typically in the process of detoxifying. When toxins are pulled out of tissues, they re-enter the bloodstream causing negative symptoms. But toxins are now on their way OUT instead of on their way IN. This process is one of healing and cleansing. Soon after the detox, an overall improvement in well-being is restored.
To reduce the potential for bruising, hold pressure on the injection site for 2 minutes once treatment is completed and keep the dressing/bandage in place for 20 – 30 minutes.
Post-IV infusion symptoms are uncommon but if you do experience any of the following below, please follow these simple recommendations.
- Bruising or swelling: Apply a cold pack to the site, elevate the arm if needed, and follow a “15 minutes on, 15 minutes off” pattern, never directly onto the skin. If a hematoma occurs, (a firm spot near the IV site, follow the same method. Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate and take OTC pain relievers as needed.
- Headaches: Headaches are often caused by the detoxing effect mentioned above or nutrient sensitivity. Take OTC pain relievers such as ibuprofen and rest.
- Fatigue: Some of the nutrients we infuse are naturally calming and may cause fatigue. Rest or recharge and make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep.
- Dehydration: Although you may have received IV fluids during your treatment, we always encourage you to continue to drink water after each treatment.
Dehydration symptoms include:
- Headaches
- Nausea
- Joint pain
- Blurred Vision
- Cramping (GI and/or Muscular)
- Mental confusion or Disorientation
NOTE: It is typical to experience some discomfort after IV or IM therapy. But some symptoms may be more serious.
