• What can I expect on my NAD IV therapy visit?
  On your first visit, you’ll receive a text message with two forms you’ll need to fill out. Once you’re registered, you’ll meet on-on-one with a registered nurse to explore your unique health and wellness history and goals. Next up, choose one of our massage chairs or leather lounge chairs, take a seat and get your NAD drip on! Our nursing staff is happy to answer any questions and will be right there with you throughout your NAD journey.
• How long does each NAD+ IV therapy session take?
  2-4 hours NAD+ IV’s are administered with a slower drip than a typical IV. We use only gravity flow drips at a pace that keeps you comfortable. Plan to be in our FIKA lounge or comfortably at home with our mobile IV team for 2-4 hours to receive your NAD IV therapy drip. For a quick way to receive lower dose NAD+, we also offer an NAD shot that takes no more than five minutes to administer. For maximum NAD IV Therapy dosing (1,000mg), your IV infusion may take 6-8 hours. Many of our guests chose to do their NAD drip treatment package with a friend or spouse, getting in quality time and investing in their wellness together or to take advantage of our mobile IV therapy services in the comfort of their homes.
• Will it hurt?
  NAD IV therapy is unique in that recipients can often feel a variety of sensations during the NAD infusion. Some people experience mild discomfort during an NAD drip, but our staff will check-in and help you adjust to your comfort level. Most of our clients say getting NAD IV’s is less painful than getting laser skincare or microneedling treatments! We offer complimentary nausea (a $25 value) for any guests experiencing nausea during their NAD drip.
• Do you offer mobile NAD IVs?
  Yes, FIKA offers mobile IV visits in Salt Lake County, Summit County, Davis County and Utah County. Many guests prefer to receive NAD drips in their homes due to the time commitment and schedule. Please call 801-308-9229 to book your mobile visit.
• What to bring to my NAD infusion?
  Some guests bring the tech and others digitally detox during NAD drips. Feel free to bring headphones, your laptop, or a good book. We only ask that you not take phone calls in our spa-like space. We provide water, snacks, and blankets to make you as comfortable as possible during your NAD infusion.
• Why does it cost so much?
  NAD IV therapy is one of the more expensive IV Infusions, at $1 per mg. Lucky for you, Utah is actually a more affordable state to receive NAD+ than many others!
• How much and how often?
  The goal with administering an NAD IV is to raise NAD levels as quickly as possible during a series of NAD therapy sessions. Natural NAD+ levels are dependent on age, diet, medical history, and goals. We consider all of these when determining a dosage and treatment interval for each guest. However, while NAD+ is most effective in higher doses and in a closer interval, most of our clients are best able to complete a 2000mg loading dose over the course of 10-14 days.
• How long does NAD IV Therapy Last?
  Once you’ve achieved high levels of NAD+ in your body, we recommend maintenance dosing of 500mg over the course of three months. Doing weekly or biweekly injections help avoid depleting levels of NAD.
• Are there side effects?
  NAD Infusions do cause noticeable changes in the body. Each person responds differently to NAD therapy and some guests feel different sensations in their body while receiving the NAD treatment. Response is unique to each person’s unique biology.
• Is this the IV celebrities are getting?
  On episode five of The Kardashians, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber receive mobile NAD+ drip therapy. Celebrities may use IV therapy for results with energy, skin, metabolism, sleep, weight, and overall wellness. IV therapy goes hand-in-hand with skincare routines to provide hydration and essential nutrients to the body. Some guests truly feel they’re glowing after NAD treatments.
• When should you start getting NAD+ IV’s?
  While studies have not calculated the precise degree of NAD level decline with aging, samples taken during studies indicate that, on average, concentrations of NAD in middle aged humans (ages 45-60) appeared to decrease by at least 50% or half of youthful levels.
• How quickly will I see results with NAD IV Therapy?
  Utah has the highest interest level in NAD IV therapy than any other state. We know our guests are looking for results. Each person responds differently to NAD IV drips, but many of our guests say they feel an instant boost in energy.
• Why not get NAD in a nasal spray?
  While we know oral supplementation with NAD+ is less effective than receiving it in IV form, our FIKA staff is still exploring the efficacy of NAD nasal spray.
• What if I’m Scared of Needles?
  We can’t tell you how often we hear this! Followed by: “Wow! I didn’t feel a thing!” Our nurses take extra care to make the poke as undetectable and comfortable as possible. We offer heating pads and blankets if you want extra comfort or to visually cover up the needle during your NAD drip and forget it’s even there. We’ve got you!
